The Time I Felt Invincible

The first time I felt invincible was when I was learning how to unicycle. I had got it a month or so ago, but no matter how hard I tried I went literally nowhere and sometimes on occasion I would accidentally go backwards. I was really frustrated. Oh I had thought it would be easy, take a week and I would be going down the street. Well I know now it’s not that easy. I kept trying and trying though. I didn’t give up. One time I got up and started to petal. I thought I was going to fall like I had so many times before but I actually got going. I knew I didn’t get very far, but I felt on top of the world. This is the story of when I felt invincible.

The Birdhouse

I was at Audrey’s house. Adele, Audrey’s sister and her friends were painting birdhouses. When they were finished we noticed that there was still one birdhouse left. We decided to decorate it. At first we were planning ahead trying to be neat, carefully painting clouds and flowers, but when you sit next to a friend you’re bound to get a little crazy. Well, that’s exactly what happened. The birdhouse got transformed in a mad flurry of laughter. When we were done our once neat and pretty birdhouse had taken a turn for the worse. The clouds had smiley faces all over them and the flowers did too. We also made a mess. Making that unfortunate pair of jeans I was wearing un-wearable. It may look like a horde of hysterical hyenas attacked it but it was fun to make. That is the story of the birdhouse.
